Robert F. Porges, MD, BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Robert F. Porges received his medical degree from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, in Brooklyn, New York. He is currently professor and Interim Chair of the Department of Obs & Gyn at the NYU School of Medicine. He is a recipient of the Distinguished Surgeon's Award of the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons (2003) and recognized for Lifetime Achievement in Advancing Knowledge of Vaginal Surgery by this Society (1997). He specializes in the surgical repair of organ prolapse, urinary incontinence and repair of congenital malformations and injuries of the birth canal.
