Peter L. Kogut, M.D.
Dr. Peter Kogut is a gynecologist and partner at Park West Women's Health Center, a private group practice in Rochester, NY. His practice focuses on women's health at midlife and beyond. Dr. Kogut received a medical degree from the University ofRochester School ofMedicine. He completed his residency in Obstetrics-Gynecology at Strong Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Kogut was certified by the American Board ofObstetrics-Gynecology in 1980 and was recertified in 2008.
Dr. Kogut is certified by the International Society for Clinical Densitometry as a clinical densitometrist He has served as a member ofthe ISCD faculty and taught bone densitometry courses throughout the country. Dr. Kogut is the Director ofthe Bone Densitometry Center ofRochester which is the first and only facility in Upstate New York to receive accreditation by the ISCD.
Dr. Kogut is a member ofthe North American Menopause Society which has certified him as a menopause practitioner.
Dr. Kogut is also an Associate Clinical Professor at the University ofRochester School of Medicine.
