Peter Lotze, M.D.

Dr. Peter Lotze is currently serving as a member of the SPRS Board of Directors. He is a clinical assistant Professor at the University of Texas Medical School in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Lotze is also the Fellowship Director and a practicing Urogynecologist at the Pelvic Health & Continence Center of Obstetric & Gynecology Associates.

Dr. Lotze received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in 1990 and his Doctorate of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas in 1994. He completed residencies in both Psychiatry and Obstetrics & Gynecology from Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Lotze completed his a fellowship in 2002 for Urogynecology at Women’s Continence Center of Greater Rochester in Rochester, New York.

Dr. Lotze’s current professional activities include: Oral Board Examiner for the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology; Founder and President of MedSurg.com, LLC; Director of the Resident Gross Anatomy Lab at the University of Texas Science & Health Center; CME Board committee member at the Women’s Hospital of Texas; OR Operations Board committee member at the Women’s Hospital of Texas; and Chairman of PURE-HOPE in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Lotze’s current professional organizations include: The Society of Pelvic Reconstructive Surgeons; Harris County Medical Association; American Urogynecology Society; Alpha Omega Alpha; and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
