Clifford R. Wheeless, MD

Dr. Clifford R. Wheeless, Jr., MD is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins Residency Program in gynecology and the Roswell Cancer Hospital program in gynecology/oncology. He has been a faculty member of Johns Hopkins University since 1964. His practice is gynecologic oncology and extensive pelvic surgery. He is the author of The Atlas of Pelvic Surgery, three editions and in three foreign languages. He is the author of many chapters in textbooks in gynecology and sixty peer review articles. His interest has been pelvic surgery and gynecologic surgery and the teaching thereof. For the last several years he has been actively involved in the repair of obstetrical fistulas throughout Africa.
