Any practicing or retired physician, surgeon, resident or fellow in the fields of gynecology, pelvic surgery or urology. Also any physician interested in the dynamics of the pelvic reconstructive and vaginal surgery may attend the conference. The conference serves physicians from across the United States and many from across the globe.
The credits offered are determined on a yearly basis. To determine the number of credits offered at this year’s conference, please refer to the registration packet. Credits are disbursed on a daily basis at the conference. Registrants must attend the full-day’s course in order to receive the credits offered on that particular day. Partial credits are not given to a physician who does not attend the full day’s course. Attendees must sign in each morning to receive their credits.
The Anatomy Course is a hands-on cadaver lab allowing registrants to move away from the text book and learn the most up-to-date techniques in the pelvic reconstructive surgical field. Among many techniques, attendees will work closely with the faculty in the (vaginal) dissection of the Anterior Abdominal Wall and the dissection of the lateral pelvic wall. Attendees will also practice using grafts and kits for pelvic floor reconstruction. The anatomy course is offered in addition to the Pelvic Surgery Course and therefore requires a separate fee.
No. A limited number of spaces are available for the Anatomy Course and only those who attend the Pelvic Surgery course have the option of attending the lab.
Participants may pay for either course by using PayPal on the SPRS website, mailing a check to the SPRS address, or by wire transfer. If you are wishing to make a wire transfer, please contact SPRS to request the needed routing information. You will be registered for the course once your payment has been received. SPRS suggests early registration for the Anatomy Course due to the limited number of spaces available.
You may cancel your registration and request a refund for the Pelvic Surgery and/or Anatomy Course up to 30 days before the conference. Partial refunds for the Pelvic Surgery and/or Anatomy Course will not be given the 30 days before the conference. Any cancellation and refund prior to 30 days will incur a 10% administration charge.
Registrants will receive their syllabus and other printed materials on the first morning of their course. Those registrants attending the Anatomy lab will receive their materials at breakfast on Thursday morning and those registrants only attending the Pelvic Surgery Course will receive their materials at breakfast on Friday morning.
Please remember to mention the International Pelvic Reconstructive and Vaginal Surgery Conference when reserving your hotel room. SPRS tries to estimate the number of rooms that will be needed for each year’s conference. If the block of rooms SPRS has reserved fills up prior to the hotel’s cut-off-date then the group rate may no longer be available. SPRS strongly urges all registrants to reserve their room(s) as soon as possible to avoid the higher room rate.
